3 Palm Reading Tips For How To Palmistry

By Jeff K.

In today's day and age it seems that so many of us are living with so much uncertainty in so many different areas of our lives whether it's our financial well being, our relationships, or our career path. Wouldn't it be beneficial if we had something that could help us to see whether or not we were "on track" to an all around better life?

In the professional world the people who practice this art form are commonly referred to as palm readers and in some places of the world are called a "hand analyst." Palm reading is believed to be traced back to ancient India and may also be known as Chiromancy and will help the reader study the lines in the palm of an individual to find out more about their personality and what might be in store for their future.

While many believe that in fact palm reading was founded in India they will also tell you that it has specific roots in astrology and various fortune tellers as well. It was said that the art of palm reading made its way to Aristotle who presented it to Alexander the great who then used what they learned to study the characteristics and personalities of his officers.

Outside of just reading the lines in the palm many readers will take a look at other features of the hand such as shape and length of fingers. More often than not a reader is going to study and assess the 4 most common lines on the palm along with any visible mounts on the hand they may see.

Since palm reading or palmistry has roots to Greek mythology it's also thought that certain features on the palm or hand will be directly related to a God or Goddess from Greek mythology. When the reader starts they will typically read the dominant hand of the individual as this gives them the most insight as to what is currently going on in their life.

The Greek God Apollo is referenced in the ring of the finger in palmistry and the characteristics of this are tied to thing like art, wealth and even fame. Outside of analyzing things like the ring of the finger the reader will more specifically look at the length of the fingers, lines in the palm, mounts in the palm and the overall shape of the hand.

There are 4 different types of hands that are associated to palmistry which are the earth shape, the water shape, the fire shape, and the air shape. Each of these hand types will contain the head line, the heart line, the health line and sometimes the fate line on the palm. The hand analyst may also look at mounts such as the Mars, the Sun, The Rahu, and the Mars negative.

I remember the first time I had my palm read, I was shocked and amazed to reveal such valuable data about myself that I didn't seem to be aware of. The more I learned about palm reading the easier it was for me to read other people's palms and if you are lucky that can even amount to some nice paydays.
